The town's layout and structures have remained largely unchanged since the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), maintaining the traditional city wall and street alignment. The town's architecture is characterized by its linear distribution along the streets, creating a densely congregated urban center. Several key architectural sites within Zhengding Ancient Town exemplify its historical and cultural significance. It features an array of intricately detailed buildings, many of which contain significant inscriptions and steles that provide insight into the temple's historical role in the region.
